Home to giant Saguaro Cacti and 2000 other identified species of plants it has earned it’s nickname- the Green Desert. With hundreds of bird species, reptiles, mammals, amphibians and fish we will set out on foot to explore it all. As luck generally has it, we will spend time with the Desert’s most cherished residents- the Wild Horses of the Salt River. Discover the beauty of a hidden canyon lake by watercraft and sample the local cuisine. The wonders here never cease! You’ll have time to relax and recharge in the evenings at our unique accommodations on a working Equestrian Ranch.
